5 & Diner

Hello everyone,

Alas, my first real food blog post! How exciting! A couple years back, I visited my grandma in Arizona about a half hour outside of Phoenix. We went to a couple of years back and I even managed to save pictures! 5 & Diner is a place we'd always go to, especially for their delicious fried pickles :)

There are a couple of different locations scattered throughout Arizona, but we went to the one in Surprise. I can't remember what other food I usually got, but I always got the fried pickles to share and they were delicious. I think chicken tenders were usually my go-to here. I also think they may have made this into a "5 & Diner Delux" since I've been there but I'm not entirely sure.

If you're looking for a place near Phoenix, Arizona for classic, American, diner food, then 5 & Diner is the place to be!

Hello Everyone!

Life was busy and happened again, so I haven't had a chance to keep up this blog. It's been awhile since I've visited a lot of the places, so please bear with me for the ones with shorter reviews. I also am only including places where I took a picture of my food. What good would it be to describe something you couldn't see?

I will be attempting to review every restaurant that I have pictures for, but it may take a while. There may be some days with a bajillion blog posts and others with none. I thank you for your patience, and I look forward to sharing my experiences with fellow foodies :D

And So It Begins...

Hello Everyone!

After years of telling myself that I'm going to write a food blog, here it is! Next to my family, school, and friends, there's nothing I love more than food. I would love to share my affinity for food with each and every person that is reading this. My goal is to post whenever I visit a restaurant and give my take on my experience there. I don't eat red meat or most beef or pork, so don't expect to see any of those items on here. I'm also very big on seafood.

I'm a midwest girl hailing from the great Prairie State of Illinois (I-L-L-I-N-I!), so most of my posts will be from Illinois restaurants aside from the occasional vacation elsewhere. Since I'm just starting now but have visited many fantastic restaurants in the past, I will be posting a lot this week to try and "catch up."
